05/03/2026 Diagnosis:: Diffuse large cell lymphoma (histological diagnosis), Stage IIIA. IHC B -Cell. Vincristine week 13. 

History: Alice has finished her course of enrofloxacin a week ago, her appetite has improved but since starting chemotherapy treatment she remains lethargic. Toileting habits remain normal 

Physical Examination findings: Bright, alert and responsive.
Oral exam: moderate dental disease, otherwise unremarkable. 
Heart & lungs: no murmur or arrythmia. Normal RE and BV sounds bilaterally 
Abdomen: soft and comfortable
Lymph nodes: no lymphadenopathy
Rectal: no internal lymphadenopathy
Integ: right hock mildly odematous and warm at touch, coat NAD 
Mm pink, crt < 2 secs, HR 140, RR pant, Temp 38.2, Wt: 41.9kg

Laboratory results: CBC performed in house with manual blood film assessment.
Hct:0.386 
WCC:6.38 
Neuts:3.70 
Platelets:521 

Manual differential count:  52%, Lymphocytes 44%, Monocytes 3%, Eosinophils 1%.
Platelets: clumped and adequate
Morphology: Normal 

In-house CRP: 6.4 mg/L

Treatment: 0.85mg vincristine (0.7mg/m2) was administered IV via a 22g catheter in the left lateral saphenous vein using the closed injection Equashield system.

Comments:t was a pleasure to see Alice. Although her hock appears oedematous and warm to the touch, her body temperature and blood parameters are within normal limits. Consequently, she no longer requires antibiotics; however, continued monitoring is recommended.
