05/03/2026 REASON: Lump and Cytopoint Injection HISTORY: Noticed licking at lesion to L hind paw and not going away EXAMINATION: Demenour - BAR BCS-6/9 HR 120, RR , T 38.4, CRT 1-2sec, MM pink. Cardiorespiratory- NAD Teeth- grade Eyes/Ears/Nose- NAD Skin- Lump left hind digit 2 caudal paw pad has caudal and lateral aspect erythematous nodular region with prominent hair follicles and express hairs + purulent discharge from hair follicles. Musculoskeletal/Neuro- NAD Ln's- Popliteal lymph node enlargement L hind Gastrointestinal- NAD Urinary/Repro- NAD ASSESSMENT: DDx focal area of folliculitis associated with lateral paw pad/and hairs ingrown Vs Mass *ie mast cell) causing poor eruption of follicles TREATMENT: Cytopoint 40mg SC (Batch: 836645, Exp: 02/2027) Cephalexin 600mg BID for 7 days Pred 20mg - 1.5 tabs SID for 3 days, then 1 tab SID for 5 days then 1 tab EOD until finished Malaseb bathing twice this week to paw. PLAN: Revisit in 7-10 days Cytology of L hind mass area if persisting
