05/03/2026 Reason: Surgery/Procedure Examine: BAR, lovely dog HR 132, no murmur/arrhythmia Panting, effort wnl, normal lung sounds T 38.0 MM pink and moist, crt<2secs, grade 1-2 Abdo palp nsf Cyst right dorsal chest Laboratory: pre-GA declined Anaesthesia:See attached g/a chart IVC placed Premed: methadone 0.8ml and medetomidine 0.08ml IV Induction: Propofol 6ml IV, intubated size 10.5 ETT Maintenance: Isofluorane/Oxygen Intra-op complication: None Recovery: Uneventful IVFT with LRS @ 5ml/kg/hr Surgery: Cyst on right dorsal chest - elliptical incision to excise. SC closed simple interrupted PDM 3/0. Skin closed with Biosyn 4/0 intradermals and Nylon 4/0 cruciates. Confirmed cyst. Dental scale and polish performed. No extractions required. Treatment: Meloxicam 1.1ml SC, then PO SID at home Plan: - POC/sutures out in 10-14 days, revisit sooner if concerns
