R/v post surgery Site Of caudal L mammary gland removal - swelling has reduced in size over past week considerably. Approx pullet egg size currently. Appetite & general activity/demeanour normal. Have stopped metacam Tx several days after previous visit Check ears - concern Check site of surgery firm skin associated swelling that feels separate to underlying tissue. U/s exam - moderate amount of fluid in area with some soft tissue. Likely an organising seroma. Give a copy of histopath report to owner. Due to some uncertainty with path Dx - inflammatory or neoplasia - advise monitoring of area given incomplete excision of affected tissue. Both ears - moderate amount of dark brown exudate Swab: 2-3+ yeast in both ears Start Otoflush & PMP r/v 10-14d Start lead walks.
