Reason for visit/main concern:
Day 3 of not wanting to jump up on furniture, usually has the zoomies. Wants to be picked up. No known incidents.
Very quiet this morning, trembling all over. Been keeping him quiet, no stairs.
Crated him. Has had similar episodes in the past before - thought neck pain, recovers soon after each episode
EDUD normally, no CSV
Current medication/supplements: anti-inflammatories for last 3 days, last given this morning - 10kg (other dog has meloxicam)

mm pink and moist, CRT <2sec
Lymph nodes: normal submandibular, prescapular and popliteal
Cardiac auscultation: NAD, no murmur, no arrhythmia, strong synchronous pulse HR: 120
Pulmonary auscultation: NAD, normal BV sounds, no resp effort RR: 
Eyes: NAD
Nose: NAD
Ears: NAD
Mouth: NAD
Dental Grade: 0/4
Abdominal palpation: NAD, soft, comfortable
Skin: NAD
Neuro: NE, normal mentation. Walking around ok, no limping. All 4 CPs WNL
Myo-arthro-skeletal: NAD on neck manipulation, or palpation. NAD on spinal palpation
Uro-genital: NE
Temperature: 38.7
BCS: 5/9 

ANALYSIS
NQR, slow to move
DDx neck pain - low grade IVDD, muscular injury >> meningitis

PLAN
Discussed options with O:
1. Refer for CT with contrast or MRI
2. Continue conservative management with pain relief and rest
O opted for 2.
Add on 100mg gaba BID - start today. Warned of sedative SE.
Continue meloxicam 10kg dose
Recheck 7-10 days.
