28/02/2026 REASON: Skin Mr + Mrs presented with Archie. O's have been in Columbia for holiday, just returned home and noticed a bald patch inside Archie's L thigh. O's haven't seen him licking this. O's report no other skin concerns in past. Has been moving around well / recovered well following TPLO. Not on any current meds. BAR, good dude. MM: pink + moist. HR: 92, no murmur. LNs: WNL. Ears: no discharge, no erythema. Temp: 37.7C. Skin: L inguinal lateral fold: mod erythema with multiple papules present (cannot see these on the photo taken), cytology showed cocci and neuts from inside the fold where it was moist. Matted fur present around this lesion (suspect from licking, clipped this out). Hot spot-like lesion / bacterial pyoderma L flank. Plan: -Cleaned with chlorhex scrub. -Home with neocort BID topically. -10d course of amoxyclav BID PO. -O has e-collar at home. Recheck at end of AB course to ensure resolution. If ongoing issues, consider allergy investigation.
