<p><strong>History - </strong><br>2 days ago  started licking left front paw. <br>Lives on some property and got out and chased a rabbit. <br><br><strong>Physical exam - </strong><br>Matted hair between 3-4th digit - clipped off and exposed grass seed that popped out of skin with some purulent material. <br>Other grass seeds in R paw interdigital space removed. <br>Clipped mats off. <br><br><strong>:Diagnosis:</strong><br>Grass seed foreign body LFL <br><br><strong>Treatment:</strong><br>Betadine diluted BID 7d <br>Any swelling or discomfort may need to add in antibiotics. <br>Recommend getting poodle clip to feet to manage this on going. </p>

Desexed yesterday at another clinic - not sent home with pain relief, O concerned she was in painj last nighttold to give her half (1/2) a paracetamol tablet - has given this am, not done mucheating, hasn't defecated yet, and is drinking okseems relatively bright this am, but looked v uncomfortable last nightexamBARMM pink crt <2sectemp 38.2abdo palp tolerated well, comfortable , mid-sized bladder palpablesutures in skin - intact, suture line clean and dryHeart and lungs nadOk to have some anti-inflammatory pain relief - meloxicam 1.5mg po sid x 4dcan also continue with paracetamol 1/2 x 500mg tablet if needs something extrasutures out 10-14dif any concerns - NQR, wound looks inflamed, swollen or weepy, or any GI issues then let us know, adv of possibility of NSAID causing GI upset.
