05/03/2026 Had gaba and trazodone. Muzzle placed (black soft muzzle), owner held well and Rocco was well behaved. Dressing removed - wound holding together well, some moisture over it. Recommend changing every 2 days until 10 days. Dressing replaced - melolin base layer with softban, vetwrap, and elastoplast.

Lisa came in to pick up the Traz and Gaba. Said Rocco is doing fine. Dressing still in place. Slighty quieter than normal but all fine. Due back Thurs with calming drugs for post op check.

History: lump removal x 3 2 weeks ago - O reports all went well on Thurs opened up RHL sx site from licking otherwise has been well edud fine, no v/d/c/s fasted for stitch up today Medications: nil, finished cephalexin yesterday Examination : Demeanour: BAR/aggressive - no FF meds given. Unable to examine well. O placed muzzle MM= pink RHL: lateral aspect of metatarsals has open wound approx 3cm diameter, appears clean Assessment: opened sx site due to self trauma Plan: advised could bandage and wound heal via second intention vs sedate/re-suture - O elects the latter admit to sedate (1.5ml medetomidine + 0.6ml butorphanol + 0.2ml ACP given IM with O) - can better examine and suture wound once sedated.
