05/03/2026 Nurse: Consult Reason: limping R HL History: Went for a bush walk yesterday, was fine then limping/reluctant to walk once back home Lame today too EDDU normal, last ate last ngiht Not on any meds, no known medical conditions O would like 2x wormers for Bailey and other dog PE: limited pre sedation, nervous Demeanour- BAR HR- 80, regular, no murmur RR- panting, lung fields clear bilaterally Temp - 38.4 MM/CRT- Pink, moist, <2sec Mouth/Teeth- 404 chipped Dental Score - 1/4 Eyes/Ears- Clear/NAD Nose/Throat- Clear/NAD Abdomen- tense, nervous Urogenitals- NAD Skin/Coat- Healthy skin and coat MSK - small puncture wound R HF by paw pad- looks like grass seed. Assessment: Recommended sedate, explore. Est $420-700. O happy with this plan Treatment: 0.58ml methone 0.58ml medetate 0.5ml antipam im amoxyclav 500mg BID 7 days metacam 29kg dose PO SID Sedated, R HF clipped, 3x3mm entry wound present with approx 3x1cm pocket proximally Flushed extensively with water for irrigation and explored with alligator forceps. 1x small grass seed found. No other FBs found. Advised to keep confined, no running/jumping, on lead toilet toilet walks only. Elizabethan cone tgh Plan: check in Monday, O to get in touch if lameness worsens, excessive discharge, swelling etc
