Reason: Health check - Retching Sound - JCAppointment Notes: Also clip nails if she allowsHistory:O reports retching problem raised at previous visit gradually worsened, now retching on a daily basis - mostly dry retching but occasionally does birng up vomit. Indoor only cat. O worried regarding possible FB blockage. Gets monthly prevantative wormer tx. Never been a big eater but eating normally for her standards. Bright and alert at home. No issue with d/c/s. Passing normal stools. Examination:BAREen nadMm p+m, CRT <2HR 200 (nervous) nmd RR WNL chest ausc nadAbdo palp comfortable nadLn WNLSkin/coat greatDiscussed with O retching precursor to vomiting. Top differentials hairballs vs medical. GI worms blockage less likely as already on preventatives monthly and blockage less likely given chronic issue and otherwise well in self. Option to either trial laxapet for hairballs vs bloods to rule in/out underlying medical issue (especially as reaching senior age good idea to get screening bloods anyway). Plan:O would prefer to trial laxapet first and come back INI. Vital Signs
