Reason: NQR D++ Since 2am OUTSIDE AKAppointment Notes: AFTER HOURS - LCV client, went on 2 walks yesterday, lethargic today, vomiting and D++, struggling to use her back legs and move around, O has checked for ticks and can't find any AKHistory: Possibly ate 1 grape a day or so ago. Did go to off-leash area at hadspen yesterday-> tends to run around like a crazy thing. Started having diarrhoea at about 2am this morning. Has been soft/soft-serve icecream consistency (owner had photo of it, all through the dog's bed). Has had more diarrhoea today, but isn't vomiting. Has eaten some food this afternoon and no vomit. Was holding up left hind this afternoon, then seemed weak/ataxic in hindlegs- this seemed to start this afternoon, seemed ok walking this morning.Possibly eaten animal poo (wallaby etc). Examination Subjective: mm:pink, CRT<2sec. Panting. NSF on chest auscultation, NSF on abdo palpation, but is tensing abdo. Increased intestinal gurgling-> evident without stethoscope. Seems to be trying to keep weight off hindlegs-> is standing high in the backend (looks like almost trying to walk on tip-toes). Relatively empty rectum on digital rectal exam. - small amount of watery looking faeces. Examination Objective: HR:160bpm, T:38.9CAssessment: Suspect enteritis and possible back pain. Plan: Full bloods including CK.Laboratory Results: NSF on bloods apart from mild neutrophilia. Plan: Treat diarrhoea with pro-kolin and bland food. Methadone pain relief injection and home with gabapentin. If not improving over next 2-3 days, revisit (sooner if deteriorates). Keep confined overnight (is crate trained). Vital Signs Weight: 17.8;
