Reason: Cough Appointment Notes: Overdue remindersHistory: Presenting today as owner doesn't think antibiotics prescribed for kennel cough on 16.2.25 have done anything - no change in coughing which is happening a couple times a weekOwners think is not quite right- More lethargic than usual - Panting more - Still coughing Periods of time where he is standing up and then looks like he goes to fall over/is drunk - happened a couple of times Has lots of nodules on body Bloodshot eyes for last week D+ yesterday and vomited once yesterday after coughing (maybe just productive cough) Diet: Purina Supercoat dry food with topper of minceExamine: 1. BCS:    3 /52. Integument: multiple warty nodules over body (one on R ear and one under chin) which had large crusts associated with them, a 2cm dermal feels fatty mass between legs on chest, another wart at medial canthus of R eye 3. Musculoskeletal: nad 4. Teeth: G3 dental disease 5. Eyes: both eyes scleral blood vessels more prominant 6. Ears: nad 7. Lymph Nodes: nad 8. Cardiovascular/Circulatory:   nad  9. Respiratory/Pulmonary:  mild pos tracheal pinch 10. Uro-genital: nad 11. Gastrointestinal: nad ->11a Anal Sacs: not examined 12. Behaviour: BAR13. Other: Vitals wnl Assessment: Coughing: still there, no improvement, next step is chest rads. Episode of wobbliness and lethargy and not being quite right - recommended bloods, very vague, could be partial seizure Lumps: monitor for now, most look like warts or lipoma but cant be sure without sampling, could consider removal if has dental soon, as needs dental scale and polish, maybe with extractions Recommended starting with bloods to look into, if no answers or wnl, consider imaging as next step Plan:Await TAHP resultsTelephone Call:  5.30pm on 2.3.26Called and spoke to SteffanHe reports Charlie is brighter, eating, still has ocassional cough Let him know bloods are at lab but hasn't been run yet, will call with results tomorrow. AN--- 03/03/2026 14:25:02 AN:Blood results back: CBC blood clotted - couldn't run Biochem: haemolysed sample and multiple values very abnormal - very suspicious these results are inaccurate Spoke to Idexx customer support, they can run a validity of the results on the blood sample they already have, however can't run a new biochem sample free of charge. GG ok'd me to collect mroe blood for full TAHP and for idexx to charge accordingly.Spoke to owner Steffan - let him know results are inaccurate and need to collect more blood - will collect blood at vax appt next week.
