05/03/2026 Presenting complaint - O has been away for 5 days until Tuesday, has been taken care of by dog sitter (normal routine). Less interested in food yesterday (kibble, bone broth and sardines), but still ate dinner. Experienced multiple bouts of diarrhoea overnight, last bout 6am this morning. No V+, Drinking normally. still BAR History: - EDDU:D+ - d/v/c/s: D+ - Other pets/Travel Hx: None - Current medications: Pimobendan 5mg BID - Vaccinations and flea/worming tx: No history taken HR: 120 RR: Panting Temp: 38.1 MM/CRT: Pink, <2s Demeanor: BAR BCS: 7/9 CV: NAD. No m/a auscultated Respiratory: Normal resp effort & lung sounds bilaterally Abdomen: Soft & pliable, no pain response observed upon palpation Eyes/nose: Clean, no discharge, redness, or other abnormalities noted Ears: Clean, no discharge, redness, or other abnormalities noted Teeth: Grade 2/4 Gingivitis, plaque on molars Integument: Clean, healthy coat MSK: Ambulatory. Normal gait. Urogenital: No redness, swelling or discharge noted around penis/vaginal or anal area Neuro: Normal mentation. Full neuro exam not performed LN: wnl Assessment: GI upset/gastroenteritis vs pancreatitis vs neoplasia vs other Treatment: Prokolin + bland diet Plan: Tgh with prokolin and bland diet for 5 days, will contact to check in on how going Monitor for progression of clinical signs, return if any vomiting or lethargy - consider bloodwork on revisit
