Conscious and BAR, Differential Diagnosis: No Snake bite, early snake bite with no symptoms, or snake bite with subtle symptomsLaboratory: PT: 19.9 seconds (normal)Aptt: 31.8 sec (normal range) Plan: Option 1: treat pre-emptively with 1 vial of anti venom (in hosp or take home afterwards) Option 2: treat pre-emptively with 2 vials anti venom in hospital Option 3: monitor in hospital and recheck coags in 2 -4 hoursOption 4: monitoring at home and recheck/return if any changes in him overnight or tomorrow- as his physical exam and coags were all normal (as well as we think maybe bitten before O got home at 4:45pm and then got here at 7:30pm id expect symptoms to have shown by now like in the past) so tonight I suspect he was not bitten and maybe got a fright or had a dry bite. - discussed options and risks of each and warned it is always so hard to tell how a dog will respond to a bite or how long it will take to have effectsTreatment:  Opted to monitor at hme and any changes toe recheck with us--- 4/03/2026 7:28:19 PM AC:AAA - Skipped on 15/05/2025    Vital Signs    Weight: 7.2;
