Reason: Piper, Halo & Diesel - All Have D+++Appointment Notes: Seen here and at WAVES. All three dogs have viral/bacterial infection and have d+++++. All are eating well, drinking and BAR. Is there something other than Pro kolin (which they have). Did get three days of Ab's at WAVES but hasnt cleaner up EMTP called O and discussed situationO went to Berrigan vet instead of WAVES and was dispesned with metronidazole, no effectTP dispensed fenbendazole Give 13m to Diesel, 11ml to Halo and 12ml to PiperOnce a day for 3 days.INI faecal analysis bloods and further investigation. Initially food then just liquid.Continued to vomit a few times yesterday and overnight.Not eaten since that monday night. Ate tiny bit of chicken yesterday. Unsure regarding drinkingHas been passing foul smelling watery diarrhoea several times a dayBit quieter than usual Other 2 dogs are fineHas not had access to anything on walks but possible could have eaten something in backyard? Not toxins or chemicals thoughExamine: Mentation: QARPeripheral LN: NSFOral: MM pink, tacky. CRT<2sEyes: Eyes clear, no redness or discharge. No evidence of pathological ocular changes on external exam. Full ophthalmic exam not performed. Intact palpebral and menace response both eyesEars: Ears clean. No evidence of inflammation or discharge on external exam. Otoscopic exam not performed.Cardiovascular: Heart rate 120. No murmur or arrhythmia on auscultation. Pulse quality good and synchronous.Respiratory: RR and effort WNL. Lung sounds clear all fields.Gastrointestinal: Abdomen diffusely mild tense, GIT sounds 2+. No obvious organomegaly or abnormalities. Rectal exam smear of watery diarrhoea yellow. Ugen: NSFInteg: mild perineum diarrhoea scalding. MSK: Ambulating well. Full MSK exam not performed.Neuro: NSF, normal mentationTemp: 38.3Assessment: Acute onset vomiting, anorexia, diarrhoea.Possible dietary indiscretion vs other? Slight dehydration  and mild diarrhoea scalding but otherwise NSF on PE, ok to do symptomatic treatment.
