Patient came in yesterday for vomiting- bloods taken & had antinausea & pain relief injection. Owner started claim yesterday. 
Patient came back in today, still not eating, lethargic. Placed on IV Fluids & had x-rays as foreign body felt in abdomen. 
Confirmed foreign body and surgery completed to remove foreign body. 
Had antinausea and antibiotic injection and sent home with pain relief.

O rang 8am and said Keats still hasn't eaten anything since his appt yesterday. 
No vomits but just stayed in carrier cage whole night/ morning wouldn't come out. 
Came out this morning to do a wee but went straight back to carrier. 
Still lethargic. No diarrhoea/ stool. 
Barely drinking much. Spoke to LL- she said drop off cat for recheck/ fluids. 

Cat Dropped off 9am. 
TPR completed at time HR 200 To 38.2*C rectally 
Hartmans fluids commenced @46ml/hr for 1 hour then reduced to 20ml/hr

History: Was given some pet treats which were sent from England, sunday evening. Started vomiting yesterday afternoon. Started as clear vomit, then pink, then orange bile. Lethargic. Not eating or drinking since yesterday afternoon. Soft motion yesterday
had episode of acute vomiting July last year that responded well to single inj methadone and maropitant at pet ER
he is always more skinny than  his brother and not as good an eater. does occasionally cath lizards

Stomach & Intestines - abdomen feels quite empty, uncomfortable o palpation. No obvious FB palpable.  ddx gastroenteritis vs pancreatitis vs IBD vs FB vs other including lymphoma. Start with bloods , gave inj methadone and maropitant sc . Advised O to rv if continues to vomit today as will need IVF. Advised O FPL won't be back till tomorrow afternoon but if cat has not improved overnight to call the clinic in the morning for bloods we have and advice on how to proceed. Advised may need abdominal imaging.
