04/03/2026 Day 3 - pancreatitis Still not herself. Wobbly in back legs, guarded in tummy, laying v still at home, O was considering taking her to SASH. Fed last night and twice this morning. Chicken + water. Big wee this morning. Gums still feels tacky to O. Usual diet is ZD low fat. PE - mm pink, still a bit tacky, CRT <2s Ears/eyes nsf Chest ausc - HR 124bpm, Grade 1 v mild and focal heart murmur, lungfields ok. RR 24bpm. Abdo palp - cran/mid abdomen - mild pain reaction present this morning LNs wnl T 38.68 O concerned that no known trigger for pancreatitis, seems to be taking longer to recover compared to prev bout in July 2025. Discussed abdo u/s - owner keen and EHW already here and available with no more availabilities before going into weekend - O elected to proceed with abdo u/s today. Gave gabapentin 50mg on admission at 9.55am. Placed new IVC. Recommenced IVFT (Hartmans) at 12ml/hr. Sedation - torb 0.06ml, midazolam 0.12ml IV, topped up with alfaxan. EHW abdo u/s - verbal report - pancreatitis, no other significant abnormalities. Cont supportive care as per plan. Inj maropitant 0.3ml iv at 2pm Gave paracetamol 0.3ml (100mg/ml) PO at 2pm. Offer chicken 2-2.30pm very ravenous PLAN - Cont pain relief with gabapentin 50mg po q8-12 hours as required - next due 6pm.
