Normal eyelid in morning, then noticed at night when due for twice daily pred eye drops Is not irritated by eyeO stopped eye drops Medications: Prednefrin forte into eyes Insulin 4IU, 3IU, 2IU, not eating well currently. DM poorly controlled. Hyperglycaemia almost all the time. Ketonuria. Managed by Med VRHZofran BIDNexium 2.5g sachet once daily Carafate 0.5g BID Mirtazepine 1/4 tablet once dailyWas historically on Trilostane, but tolerates poorly so not currently on any. Examine:BAR Eyes - cataracts bilaterally. Blind. PLR intact bilaterally. Iris WNL. No ocular discharge. Very mild episcleral hyperaemia only. 4-5mm raised pink lesion on centre of upper left eyelid. Otherwise eye appears normal. Third eyelid, retropulsion WNL. IOP 8mmHg bilaterally. Fluorescein negative. STT 11mm left eye; 12mm right.Full exam not performed due to time constraints Joint consultion performed with Melb Eye vet via teleconsult. Assessment: eyelid infection, possible KCSTreatment: Stop pred Lubricant into both eyes (Hyloforte) Doxy 8mg/kg PO SIDFramixin BID into left eye Plan:Recheck STT next week and eyelid lump If still dry, requires optimmune or tacrolimus Vital Signs
