History: Seen by Terrey Hills Veterinary Hospital on the 18/2/2026 for inappropriate urination. Ultrasound performed which showed a thickened bladder wall and sediment. Had been on Amoxyclav 250mg PO BID was recommended to stop antibiotics for 7 days then collect and send a cystocentesis sample for urinalysis and C/S. Current medications: Meloxicam 13kg dose PO SID Cystopro 1 capsule PO SID Procedure: Sedated with Medetomidine 15mcg/kg + Methadone 0.2mg/kg IM Ultrasound guided Cystocentesis performed. Sample was placed in a sterile container and sent for Urinalysis and C/S. Routine sedation, no intervention required. Reversed Medetomidine with full Atipamazole dose IM. Plan: Continue meloxicam PO SID and Cystopro PO SID whilst waiting for urinalysis and C/S result.
