Os built new garden bed today
Used organic dirt and mulch and O worried something stuck in throat
trying to swallow and gag with nothing coming up
Has not vomited since event and is acting very abnormal
Has not eaten food since this
Handful kibble at lunch time

Distressed and sore on throat palpation
Constantly trying to gag in consult
Nothing obvious at back of throat but hard to examine
No bleeding from mouth
No coughing
abdomen mild tense on palp but nervous dog
dental grade 0

indcution: alfaxan 
maitnennace; iso 

unable to see anythign obvious on oral exam uga - opt to proceed with scope 
able to identify piece of bark at top of oesophagus  - able to grab and remove with endoscope 
scope the rest of the oesopahgus - clear 
no apparent scratches/infalmmation 

ivft @ 3ml/kg/hr 

opt to give soft foods for the next few days - should pass any other small bits that has already ingested
