Appointment Notes: Examination Vet - Illness [Veterinarian : Dr Alisha Machek(No Preference)] - Possible jaw pain from teething but unsure. Has been keeping head up and reluctant to lean down. Have felt over body and get no sign of pain from him. Has been fine on walks/runsHistory:  Past few days not really himself, whimpering sometimes, doesn't want to lean down, trouble eating? Still active. Was given meloxicam yesterday, no other symptoms.Examination: Is a bit subdued, very head shy, really hates mouth touched but is eating treats readily, mouth is NAD - mm pale pink and moist, all adult teeth erupted, no gingivitis or halitosis, was able to open jaw fully, SMLN normal, doesn't like neck flexion, rest of exam WNL, TPR normalAssessment: Appears to have inflammatory symptoms - possibly myositis/meningitis? Neck pain?Plan: Offered bloods vs referral vs monitor and continue NSAID. Owner agreed to start with bloods. Reason: Lethargic, Tender Belly NMAppointment Notes: O aware of AH feeHistory: Bit flat this afternoon when O came home. No noted vomiting, faeces ok, maybe a little soft. Breakfast was forgotten (O miscommunication) but had some food when O got home. Yelped when picked up.Examine: BAR, anxious. Mm pink. Teething no ulcers. Heart clear and regular. Abdo palpation comfortable, no obvious masses or free fluid palpable. Spinal palpation comfortable. Hips and stifels comfortable.Painful around ventral chest palaption - yelps and tries to get away as approachign the area. No obvious swellign or woudns visible but could not get a great look.Differential Diagnosis: trauma likely.Plan: rest and nsaids. Advise dini in 12-24 hours to review, but may take a little while to fully recover.
