<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><p>Hx - Lump on neck noticed by Sean recently<br><br>CE:<br>- Integument: Pink lump, approx 8-10mm diameter on R side ventral neck. Has crusts overlying it. Once removed, can see mild ulcerated surface on 1 side of lump. FNA taken. 2nd lump on R side neck, white and firm, approx 2mm diameter. <br><br>Lab - Aspirate reveals RBC's ++++ and dark staining large round cells. Could be Mast cells? <br> <br>A - Suspect skin tumour (cancer), but advise can't tell if benign/malignant<br><br>P - Offer to send slides or proceed to surgery. O keen for surgical removal with Histo. Est for small lump + histo + sPAS. Intradermal sutures only please</p></html>

Both lumps diagnosed as Fibroadnexal Haemartoma with clear margins.

History: Presents for Lump removal from L stifle and L hockGoing well at home, EDDU nad, no concerns otherwise. Last ate last PM. Pre-GA ExamMentation: BARNo further exam dt temperament. Anaesthesia Report: Pre GA bloods: Mild ALT elevation. Premed: Medetomidine 10ug/kg + Methadone 0.3mg/kg (0.25/0.9), provided good level of sedationGA: Propofol/Iso 2% IVFT @ 3ml/kg/hr via catheter in cephalic veinSurgery:Elliptical excision of mass on cranial aspect of stifle with minimal margins. Clsourw with 3-0 PDS SC and then ID. No skin suturesScissors to remove skin tag type lesion from L caudal hock. Clsourw with 1 X PDS buried suture and then tissue glue. Mild dermatitis of proximal thigh above shaved area from Sx site. 7d A/Bs to cover. Plan: In house assessment of skin tag reveals mixed round cells. Opt to send for pathology analysis. Submit both lumps for HistologyNSAID administered post operatively and TGH with SID, as long as eating.
