Is down here visiting friends (from Kalgoorlie).Last schnauzer has complications with vaccination. Reason: Possible vaccine reaction.History: Vaccinated 1 week ago with Boerhringer Ingelheim Protech C4 Batch 5257037A 28/10/2026 Attenuated vaccine and a killed Protech BB 15603 10/26. Started showing signs 4 days ago - with reduced appetite. Then vomited twice during the evening - bile and slime w/o food. Next morning didn't eat breakfast, vomited twice during the day clear no food, didn't eat until the next morning but came back with 1 hour. Yesterday George started to show signs of improvement - has kept boiled chicken down as of yesterday at both breakfast and dinner. Ate breakfast again this morning and has kept this down. Last time George vomited was 2.00am Wednesday.Current Medication: None other than Nexgard Spectra. Examination: Mentation : BARBody condition score :MM/CRT : Pink <1.5 secsMoist / Tacky : MoistHR : 140RR :LN : NSF despite level of dental disease SMLN are not appreciated as increased in size.T : 38.1Eyes : NSF ophthalmoscopic exam not performed.Ears : Fully haired canals - no discomfort noted.Oral cavity/dental grade : 5Cardiovascular : No audible murmur or arrythmia.Respiratory : EupneicIntegument : NSFAbdomen : Slight cranial abdominal guarding.Musculoskeletal : Patient ambulates freely. Orthopaedic exam not conducted.Urogenital : NSFNeurological : NAD - full neuro exam not conducted.Problem List: Severe periodontal disease.Assessment: Potential vaccination related illness but cannot exclude other aetiologies.Treatment: Clindamycin 25mg x 40.00 @ 2 BID until finished.
