Procedure: Lumpectomies and dental 

Pre-GA TPR: 1/6 LS heart murmur detected 

Pre-GA bloods: V Mild haemoconc. noted, started on fluids pre-procedure 

Premed: Methadone 0.4ml, medetomidine 0.04ml IM 

Induction: Alfaxalone IV to effect 

Intubated and maintained on iso/O2 gaseous anaesthetic throughout 

Placed in Dorsal recumbency 

Masses: 

1: Cr. RS mammary- firm SC non mobile, assc w. the nipple, approx 5mm in diameter, excised in eliptical icision approx 2x1cm and down to nearest fascial plane closed 2 layer 3-0 PDO 

2. RS underarm region dermal 6mm slightly raised melanotic mass- excised w. 5mm margins and closed w. nylon cruciate single 

3. LS mid abdomen part way up side, 8mm non raised dermal melanotic mass, eliptical incision 3mm margins, closed w. nylon Ford interlocking 

4. RS lower lip pedunculous 2cm meloniotic dermal mass on lip margin, excised and closed w. 3-0 PDO absorbable Ford interlocking approx 5mm closure length 

5. LS upper lip 3mm small raised firm mass, excised and closed w. single 3-0 PDO cruciate 

Taken to dental suite and routine scale and polish performed 
Slight pocketing in109 and 209 

Analgesia: Meloxicam 0.2mg/kg SC on recovery 

Further 3 days 0.1mg/kg PO SID 

POC day 3 and day 11 
S/R day 11 

Sending off mammary mass for histo to assess type, grading and margins
