Presented for BG and ketones check. O reports that Cam is going very well on the senvelgo, is very happy with his progress so far. EDUF normally, feels that he is back to his normal self and has more energy, is vocal again and using scratching post again.
Is getting more difficult with the medication now he is feeling better but I is managing.
Has been on the senvelgo for 4wks now.

Mm pink, moist, CRT < 2 sec
HR 160bpm
RR 20 breaths/min
Thoracic auscultation: grade 2 HM as per previous. No abnormal pulmonary sounds.
Abdominal palpation: comfortable, no overt masses or fluid waves or focal areas of discomfort.
EENO - grade 3 - 4 dental disease as per previous

LNs WNL
Musculoskeletal NSF
Temp - not performed today

A:

DM - started on medication 4wks ago
In-house BG: 4.9mmol/L
Ketones: 0.4mmol/L (normal is <0.5) - same as last week

Currently clinically well controlled!

P:

next BG + ketone check in 3 months as long as going well. R/c earlier if any concerns.
O going to try to monitor urine ketone levels at home 0 if develop ketones in urine to let us know.
