Lump removal** Pre GA results: all ok  Preanesthetic - Methadone 0.2mg/kg i/m, Domitor 0.005mg/kg. Adequate pre-medication achieved.   Anesthetic - IV catheter placed in the cephalic vein. Induction with alfaxan 1mg/kg slow i/v to effect , endotracheal tube placed, cuff inflated, maintained with 2% Isoflorane with Oxygen.  I/v perioperative fluids @ 5/ml/kg/hr. Monitored throughout anaesthetic using pulse oximeter, indirect blood pressure assessment, and ap alert.Medial aspect L ear pinnae at tip dermal red mass. Removed with 8mm biopsy punch and removed tissue down to cartilage. Cautery used to stop bleeding. Left open to heal by secondary intention. Sent for histopathology.Recovery from anaesthetic uneventful.
