Appointment Notes: Not weight bearing consistently on left rear leg KSKH consult. History:Limping and non weight bearing on back left. Intermittent. Sometimes will lift up the leg when standing. No specific instance of trauma known to have hurt the leg. EDDU - not eating as much as normal but a bit picky. Rest normal. Examination:BARReluctant on extension on left hip compared to the right. Patellas NAD. Forelimbs NAD on palpation and ROM. Thorax NADDental mild tartar on upper canines. Rest of 12 point exam NAD. Assessment:Sore back left limb - suspect localisation to the hip. Plan:Book in for GA x-rays to investigate the hips. Est around $600. Suspect maybe some hip dysplasia, While under - check stifle, and do cranial drawer.
