04/03/2026 BIB: Debbie HISTORY - Presenting for: Revisit right mixed (yeast + cocci ) OE - Last seen 17/02/26 (15 days ago) - Owner concerns: - Stopped ear meds since Sunday (3 days) - Went to dad's house and he put drops in WRONG ear (left ear) - Shaking head a little still - BAR. EDDU normal - No VDCS - Current medications: - PMP Right ear BID - Prednisolone 20mg tapering - Gabapentin 300mg PHYSICAL EXAM - Left ear inner pinna multifocal erythematous spots, minimal discharge in ear canal and clear - All four paws palmar/plantar surfaces mild-moderate erythema interdigital skin Cytology: - Left ear: NAD - Right ear: NAD ASSESSMENT - Suspect allergic dermatitis underlying (eg atopy, contact allergy). Never had before but 4yo now - OE resolved PLAN - Can stop PMP - Elocon 0.7ml in both ears fortnightly - Prednisolone tapering to give now and a bit extra in case of future flare up.
