<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><p>has been lame for about a month but a bit worse the last 2 weeks<br>1/5 lame - still using leg well in consult room, subtle lameness<br>on pe seems sore on flexion of right carpus and there is a firm bony feeling lump on anterior metacarpals<br>will xray<br>admitted<br><br>NAD on xrays- no sign of fx or carpal displacement<br>unable to flexed lateral while conscious.<br>discussed findings with owner<br>will get owner to keep her quiet, no walking, no running and jumping where possible.<br>jumps on and off lounges - advised need to stop her from doing this.<br>start on previcox 57mg 1 sid for 10 days<br>recheck if not improving<br>could then repeat xrays and sedate for a flexed lateral also<br>discussed may require splinting if not settling with rest and NSAIDs</p></html>
