Reason: Recheck ALT Subjective: Hx of copper storage dz. Doing well. No concerns.Due for repeat ALT, 1m since last check. Confirmed current dose is 50mg cyclosporine PO BIDOther meds: denamarin SID, d penicillinamine, B 12 Objective: BAR HR/PR/CV: 120, no murmur or arrythmia MM/CRT/Hydration: pink moist <2 RESP/RR: clear Temp: 38.1 GIT/UG: comf with abdo palpation, unremarkable. Skin/Ears: clean coat well groomed M/S: ambulating fine BCS: 6/9 Lab: ALT High 170U/L (ref 10 - 125) Improving. Assessment: Copper storage dz, likely autoimmune component. Treatment: Cyclosporin 50mg PO BID Plan: Continue cyclosporin at current dose for another month. Once more in the reference range then may be able to slowly taper but likely to be on long term/life long. Potentially reduce to SID dosing to start in the tapering course.
