Appointment Notes: bandage has come off, O wants advice if should bring amputation forward*Trembling in pain last night when rebandaging *-opJM brought Willow out to the back. SP viewed. Possible necrotic aspects along tail tip. Necrotic skin further cranially as well vs scabbing. Tail tip is moist and wet, looks infected. Creamy yellow DC. Had cephalexin 600mg q12h course. On carprofen 100mg q24h. O states still shaking and seems to be in pain at home. To start on:Amoxyclav 750mg q12h +/- consider clindamycinGabapentin 800mg q8h as req for pain relief Paracetamol 500mg q8-12h as req for pain reliefKeep amputation for Friday, best to be done w/ Dr. TRS.JM/ER applied bandage, minimal weight on end to try hold on, clipped two seperate areas to try anchor bandage too. very sore when trying to touch. went through meds with o, to cont ceph + carp. advised to fast for friday morning. new picture from today attached.
