No routine follow-up required if resolving appropriately.Communication:Owner consented to Convenia injection for antibiotic coverage. Discussed that owner already has meloxicam at home and agreed to continue for 5-7 days even if improvement seen, to reduce inflammation and provide pain relief. Discussed that if wounds worsen or become more purulent, may need to consider topical treatments or oral antibiotics.
