REASON- RecheckHISTORY  - Stool is improved, but still a dough like consistency. Has just finished 8 days of antibiotics, but at the end of consult we realised that Saffy has only been receiving 1/4 of the 250mg - rather than 1 and 1/4 - big underdose. No vomiting, normal energy and appetite. EXAMINATIONBAR, heart and lungs sound normal, abdo palpation soft and relaxed, temp 38.2, mm pink and moist, no skin tenting, ASSESSMENTDiarrhoea improved - but not back to normal. TREATMENTMetronidazole 250mg- 1 and 1/4 BID - finish course at normal dose rate for another 6 daysPLANGradual re-introduction of old diet. O going overseas in 9days.
