 healing ok, the melolyn had a green tinge to it. o said that she is ok with the cone but they sometimes take it off for going to the toilet and eating. she disapeares and tries to chew at the bandage. ES had a look at the wound. it is developing a bandage hotspot on the exterior paw pad. if o can keep the cone on and make sure she does not chew/lick it than we can leave it to heal exposed and keep it clean with bedadine or saline. relayed to o and asked for a photo update in three days time and to call if any concerns. booked in for a recheck in 6 days ime

Recheck - dog got outside and chewed the bandage off and chewed out the middle sutures - so the wound is open.- cleaned with CHlorhex solution- rebandged with Manuka Honey - soft padded and sock P; needs to be treated as open granulating wound now as too tight to surgically close- r/c in 3 days for bandage changes
