Has still be straining a bit to urinate, and would get drops of red urine out every time.<br><br>Indoor/outdoor: used to go outside twice a week, could roam free but usually stays inside o's property. Has been inside only for the past months.<br>Other animals at home: none, but there is a cat next doors that he used to go visit before, sometimes they would fight.<br>Flea/worming preventatives: NGS monthly before, but stopped using it since last month when he got sick so he is currenlty a bit overdue.<br>Vaccination status: last vaccinated on 10/10/2025<br>Diet: Hill's c/d stress wet and dry only now<br>Sneezing/coughing/V+/D+: none<br>Other pre-existing conditions: urethral obstruction with struvite crystals<br>Ongoing meds: dant/praz PO BID, metacam PO SID<br><br>S: Eyes: Normal; Ears: Normal; Nose: Normal<br>Mouth: Normal. no obvious oral ulcers. Mild to moderate calculus build up on both upper arcades, with some black staining on a lot of the teeth including canines<br>Skin & S/C: Normal, no obvious skin tent<br>Musculskeletal: Normal<br>Thoracic Auscultation: Normal, no obvious heart murmur<br>Abdominal Palpation: Normal, empty urinary bladder, uncomfortable on touch<br>Neuro: Normal<br><br>O: HR 180, RR 30, MM pink, CRT 1sec<br><br>urine obtained from table top for sed: RBC++, no obvious bacteria observed. red appearance overall grossly.<br><br>A: post urethral osbtruction, persistent stranguria: cystitis<br>Some weight loss<br>Dental problems<br><br>T: 0.3mL methone and 0.2mL midaz inj SC<br>5mg endep PO<br>dant/praz PO<br><br>P: home today, o to monitor stranguria and haematuria, continue with dant/praz and metacam<br>Will add on endep and buprenorphine for 1-2 days PRN. Recheck if no better.<br>Should recheck urine in 1 month's time if stable, consider dental afterwards</span></div></html>
