Reason: Irritated Ears And More Cortavance/austrazole MedsAppointment Notes: Bad debtorHistory:C/O chronic otitis externa flare-up despite preventative treatment (cortavance + Austrazole mixtwice weekly, Apoquel 1x/day). Signs include ear scratching, pain, purulent exudate on cleaning, and head shaking. Paw licking has resolved on Apoquel. No current V/D, but previous severe diarrhoea with Royal Canin Renal diet.Examination:EEN: Bilateral otitis externa with brown exudate. L ear appears more severely affected. No ocular or nasal discharge. No swelling noted.Dental score: 2/4 mild tartar.Lymph Nodes: Submandibular LN WNL, symmetrical.Heart: NSR, no murmur, synchronous pulses.Chest: Clear, normal bronchovesicular sounds.Integument: Skin WNL, no parasites, lumps or masses noted.Abdominal palpation: Soft, non-painful, no organomegaly detected.Neuro: Bright, alert, responsive. Normal gait.Laboratory:- Cytology swab taken from both ear for in-house analysis, revealed a yeast infection.Assessment:Bilateral yeast otitis externa.Treatment:- In-clinic ear flush performed.- auracol ear ointment dispensed. 0.8mL to be administered into each ear BID for 10/7.- Apoquel prescription refilled.- Cortovans spray + austrazole To be recommenced 2x/week after auracol course is complete.- Epi-Otic ear cleaner dispensed for ongoing weekly use.- Advised to keep ears dry and cease swimming.- Advised a 1-hour interval between applying ear cleaner and medicated drops.- Recheck appointment scheduled in 10/7.- Recommended trying Hills K/D diet for renal support; advised to introduce gradually as RC caused D +--- 03/03/2026 09:19:41 AM ZKA:Examinations - Resolved - sms sent    Vital Signs    Weight: 40.9;
