diarrhoea

History:
- 4 days d+; giving chicken/rice since first day; going about twice per day; watery yellow colour
- no vomiting;  eating ok; drinking water
- slightly quieter than normal
- no access to toxins, used to eat things he shouldn't but hasn't done that for years

Examination:
- QAR, friendly. sweet dog
- mm pink, moist, drooly, refil <2. 
- HR wnls, no murmur. clear chest
- a little uncomfotable with abdo palp; caudal region of intestine possibly thickened but not painful specifically at this site

recommended bloods as senior dog; accepted

platelets low; no tarry diarrhoea, good refil; suspect slow draw causing reduced platelets
