T/B cell immunocytochemical staining addendum report:

Immunocytochemical staining findings revealed approximately 80 to 85% of the lymphoid cells staining positively with the B-cell marker whilst less than 20% of the lymphoid cells stain positively with the T-cell marker. 
The control slide stained appropriately.

DIAGNOSIS

B-cell lymphoma

Comment : Immunocytochemical staining findings here appear to be most consistent with a B-cell lymphoma.

Owner phoned wondering when JC would call her with the results for the immunocytochemistry from Gribbles.
Spoke to NW who spoke to owner.
Have called Gribbles to find out the ETA but they have informed me it was not ordered. Have ordered it now. -KG 

NW STO - conveyed test is still with the lab and we will advise O when results available. Queried O for Harlee's current QOL - O reports is comfortable.
O has said will not proceed with chemotherapy. Disc steroid therapy again with O - explained to O lymphoma will not go away, and steroid therapy once started will continue for the rest of her life. O is reluctant to give medication, explained to O medication is to help Harlee's comfort at home. Advised O we will generally start at a higher dosage i.e 1-2mg/kg; then taper off every fortnight till we reach a dose that keeps her comfortable and minimises clinical signs. Difficult to say how much O was able to take in of this conversation. 
O would like JC to call - have left in worklist, and O has booked a checkup/ chat next week. O would like to know results of immunohistochemistry ahead of time. Advised O we will call if these results are available.
