Reason: Bandage ChangeNotes by KHHistory: CPRDeclined PAB'sNot eating O hasn't been giving antibiotics Treatment: 1.2ml methadone premed drawn up by DWC and given by DWC at 8:30am.23ml Propofol given IV only.Honey smeared over wound then placed bandage2.8ml Carprofen inj given SC in recovery. The wound looks very healthy and slightly smaller than last time. Pinna quite inflamed likely from the moisture. C&S sample taken both before and after betadine wash.Rebandaged with manuka honey -> swab -> gamge -> soft ban -> conforming -> vetwrapMay suture near the ear canal to reduce size next timePlan:Next GA bandage on fridaySpoke to male oO confirmed ok to go ahead for C&SWound looks smaller than last time. Happy to continue treatment here for now. May stitch up the vertical canal area to reduce deficit to heal but would like another manuka application to shrink some more today before we try next time.Told o there's no reason why the dog isn't eating - unless getting annoyed by the bucket and the bandage. OR dog's breathing weird - more heavy last time he came home. ? Pain? Ask o to count sleeping RR. The bandage was still not too tight when we removed it. Ask o to feed the tablet directly into mouth. O said he tried however found out he just put it in a meatball and put the food in the mouth. Dog went into the garden and buried the food... Ask him to go beyond the tongue INTO THE THROAT!!!
