03/03/2026 Presenting complaint - Vomited up Amoxyclav this morning, wasn't eating so tablet was only given with some chicken. Hasn't been interested in food since, has not vomited. 

History:
- EDDU: Inappetant
- d/v/c/s: Vomited once this morning
- Other pets/Travel Hx: None
- Current medications: Amoxyclav 500mg BID
- Vaccinations and flea/worming tx: Utd

MM/CRT:  Pink, <2s
Demeanor: BAR
BCS: 4/9
CV: Grade 2-3 pansystolic heart murmur R side > L side
Respiratory: Normal resp effort & lung sounds bilaterally
Abdomen: Soft & pliable, no pain response observed upon palpation. Mild distended appearance of abdomen, no fluid wave
Eyes/nose: Clean, no discharge, redness, or other abnormalities noted
Ears: Clean, no discharge, redness, or other abnormalities noted
Teeth: Grade 2-3/4 Gingivitis, plaque on molars 
Integument: Clean, healthy coat
MSK: Ambulatory. Normal gait.
Urogenital: No redness, swelling or discharge noted around penis/vaginal or anal area
Neuro: Normal mentation. Full neuro exam not performed
LN: wnl

Assessment:
Heartmurmur - DCM vs MMVD vs other
Lethargy/inappetance - Bacterial pneumonia vs CHF (R sided >L sided) vs neoplasia vs other
Vomiting - Abx reaction vs progression of pathology above 


Treatment:
Prevomax 3.8ml SQ 

Plan: 
Recommend repeat diagnostics (xrays or TFAST/AFAST) if no improvement overnight
If no improvement overnight, recommend going to hospital with 24hr hospitalisation/monitoring capabilities
Gave 2 cans of A/d wet food to help with appetite
