  Chemotherapy  WEEK 14 – MITOXANTRONEAppointment Notes: Week 14 History:E/D ok.  No constipation, good energy.  Urinating ok.  Continues to leave blood spots around the house but no more than previously.  Good energy.  Main concern is Hyper A signs returning (shaking, not especially PU/PD – wasn’t last time either).  Sporadic – nil hair regrowth as expected.  Now on mitoxantrone only q3wk, no further vinblastine.Current Medication: - Gabapentin PO BID - Panadol PO BID - Firocoxib 227mg PO SID Examination: - Weight change = -100 g - L ing LN = 29 mm - R ing LN/mass = 45 mm - Subjectively surrounding tissue is softer / less inflammatory than last time; Lnn more discrete? Laboratory: - CHEM - ALT 191 (alkp 118, tbil 7) - CBC – WNL (NEU 12.4, PLT 355) - Blood smear – adequate platelets, no morphological abnormalities seen Chemotherapy:  - Drug = Mitoxantrone - Dose = 5 mg/m2 - Route = IV - Details = Right accessory cephalic.  10 ml saline pre-flush, 1.7ml mitoxantrone over 5 mins, 20 ml saline post-flush. - No evidence ADR or extravasation - 0.05 ml medetomidine IV to help keep calm in hospital until picked up. Plan:Revisit in 3 weeks for next mitoxantrone.
