Appointment Notes: hasn't urinated for over 24hrsSubjective: Usually goes to Black Forest. Friday last week had some blood in the urine.  No u/a run. Started on clavulox + meloxicam. Clav for 6d. Meloxicam only for 3d as she developed runny stool with small amount of blood so stopped the meloxicam. Gave her prokolin to help d+. Stools back to normal.  Has not done a urine for over 24hr (since yesterday morning) but says that maybe the litter is wet but is hard to tell. Crystal cat litter. No going in and out of litter tray frequently. No straining to urinate. No excess grooming back end.  Playing, very active, still normal self. Drinking well. Eating well. No vomiting.   Indoor only. Objective: BAR  HR/PR/Cardio: 188, normokinetic, no obvious murmur or arrhythmia   Temp:  38.7  MM/CRT/Hydration: pink, moist <2s   RESP: clear, normal bronchovesicular sounds   GIT/UG: comfortable with abdominal palpation, unremarkable. Small palpable bladder approx 3cm diameter, doesn't feel thickened or gritty. Skin/Ears: Clean coat, well groomed. Ears free from discharge  on external exam of the internal pinnae.   M/S: ambulating fine   Eyes: clean and bright  Dental: Gr1/4   Lymph Nodes: wnl   BCS: 5/9 Assessment:  Recent haematuria, anuria for 24hr according to O. ddx: FIC most likely, UTI, renal dz, bladder stones, neoplasia, other Treatment: 0.15ml buprenorphine (0.3mg/ml) OTM BID Plan: Try to collect urine sample to r/o UTI. Consider bloods if worsening to ensure renal parameters okay. Increase water intake with food. Revisit if still no urine production. Discussed if FIC, possible stress component. May benefit from anxiety meds as she is quite stressy at home.
