save for emergencies o came in 8:10am - dog was fine this morning, she had a shower and came out and has a hole/wound on shoulder. TL premed torbugesic/medetomidine Procedure: explore wound to top of left shoulder/back area wound 1/2cm open likely burst sebaceous cyst 6ml local anaesthetic injected below area. skin excision to remove lump/cyst sutured using 3/0 pdm nails trimmed. still needed muzzle as only lightly sedated. will likely need full sedation for nails in future. medications: rimadyl injection home on amoxyclav and carprophen. Plan: resee 3 days for wound check post surgery.
