Wound seems to have healed up nicely in left front paw. When removed the bandage there was a little pus around it. Cleaned- seem to have healed. Cleaned with chlorhex. Sent home with chlorhex as well to keep it clean. <br>If he licks it, advised to cover it and then remove it. As at this stage we want it to get air. <br><br><br>Diagnosis: wound healing by second intention in left front paw<br><br><br>Treatment: chlorhex twice a day, unconvered to allow air trhough. If left alone, advised to get it covered</p></html>

REASON FOR ADMISSION: Stitch wound - owner has PR + ABX at home, will need coneNOTE FROM VSOS VISIT:Phoenix sustained a deep laceration to the left middle toe. The wound appeared small initially but upon lifting thetoe, it was noted to be quite deep with a large flap of tissue. The paw pad also has a cut.
