HISTORY:Noticed sore/scab ventral abdominal/inguinal area a few days ago no change in diet. Bedding regularly washed and upto date with parasite control. Also noticed by groomer CLIN_EXAM:Superficial scaling/crusting over R inguinal region and mid caudal abdominal area- tape prep revealed only cocci and some neutrophils no yeast or fungal organisms. Ears fine. R prominent inguinal fat pad vs hernia? to monitor and ensure not reducible INI recommend ultrasound to r/o hernia TREATMENT:Trimmed nails. Home with noroclav 50mg 1/2 twice daily for superficial pyoderma and topical neocort 1-2 daily. To use E collar and padded socks on limbs to prevent excessive licking and scratching area. R/v INI Discussed potential contact or seasonal allergies so to monitor closely for reoccurrences- can use left over neocort if reoccurs but must r/v or report if not improving next time,
