Vetstoria Appointment Toast (Cat) - Standard Consult [Veterinarian : Dr Felicity Ma(No Preference)] - Asthma flaring up. On puffer x 2 a day but has been having unproductive cough/coughing fits quite consistently the last few days. History: Last week, dry cough ramping up O thought maybe spacer not working. Os swapped to another spacer Gabapenin BID Clomicalm 4 tabs Frightened of the fans Prev Pred 5mg 1/4 tab but stopped due to puffer being enough Physical Examination: BAR, temp: BAR, temp not taken BCS - 3/5 Lymph nodes: normal Mouth - dental disease grade 1, mucous membranes: pink, Crt <2sec Ears - no abnormalities Eyes - conjunctiva and orbit normal Skin and coat - normal Chest - thoracic auscultation normal, HR: Abdomen - all abdominal viscera palpate normally Limbs - no lameness detected Assessment: Feline asthma flare up Plan: Pred 5mg: 1/4 tab PO BID 3 days, then SID 3 days, then STOP Continue puffer as per usual and also FLUTD medications
