Hx - Dreadlocks around bum last night - discovered blood blister type of thing - was raised last night, been licking at it overnight - has got smaller now.A little bit of gunky eyes.  Not irritated by them.  Anxiety - lost other dog at the end of last year.  Mostly at night.  Has improved since o got a playmate.Otherwise well.Exam- BAR, a little nervous.HR WNL, no arryth or mur noted (but hard to auscultate due to panting).Lump in front of scrotum - red / oozing - looks like abscess.  Can't see definitive sinus where abscess has burst.DDx - FB/ grass seed abscess.Discussion with o - 2 options - 1. sedate and explore / look for grass seed OR 2. medical management and see how it goes.  Insured so o opted for no. 1.  Est 32.Plan- traz + gaba pre admit tomorrow (to reduce anxiety).  Sedation + explore abscess tomorrow.O has meloxicam to give at home orally tonight.Cone on to stop licking.Consider starting ab's tomorrow.
