03/03/2026 Hx - had easotic dispensed over the weekend. O reports some improvement with this.
Exam - left ear similar to lest time - canal itself is clear but area on outside of ear is quite red and painful on otoscopic exam. Right ear clear
Blind, overweight, otherwise in good health
Tx - continue easotic 1 week. Start elocon.
Plan - re check 3 weeks. May consider maintaining with elocon and epi otic then | 28/02/2026 Reason: Dispense meds

Hx:
Signs of otitis recurred. O came in at short notice to requerst for more Easotic as Mia always had in past and resolved infection. Ears were sensitive to Epi-otic when used in past.
Hx of chronic otitis.
O will make appt for 2 days' time.
Wants some relief for Mia during the next 3 days or will present to WAVES.
Informed O that last seen 2 months ago and that infection and TM perforation status may change each time and gentamicin is toxic to middle ear. O understands but adamant to take meds and will take responsibility if middle ear toxicity occurs. If so, she will present Mia to WAVES. Advised to monitor for head tilt, disorientation, pain and if so, to stop Easotic immediately and get vet assessment,.
Signs against med advice form.
