Reason: HL discomfort after low speed vehicle impact yesterday.Mild mild R>L pinnal dermatitis. Also due vaccination. Subjective: After impact yesterday -> laid on the ground, though was up within minutes and seemed OK for the rest of the day. This morning on his walk he seemed slow and had a lameness affecting one of his HLs. No prior hx lameness.No current meds. Seems otherwise well. After looking at ears in consult, O has noticed just in the last day or so, that Sushi has been scratching at his ears. Behaviour/Temperament: Fearful / Anxious / Stressed / Relaxed / Confident / TimidFAS Score:Relevant Pre-Visit/EMR Information:Objective:HR/PR:Temp:MM:Pulse: Resp:Hydration: GIT:U/G:Ears/Skin:Eyes:M/S:there may some pain around L hip, though ROM is normal and there is no instability. Otherwise L and R HLs and back seem normal. Dental:Other: Assessment: I don't see signs of a strutural problem and neurologically Sushi seems good. Lameness and unsettled behaviour should resolve over next few days. Otherwise I suspect an allergic cause to the pinnal dermatitis and therefore suspect that this will need management over time. Treatment: Rx elocon lotion 0.1ml weekly to both ear pinnae (30mls) -> will check when next due vac or in 6m. Duramune c4 sq, oral BB Plan: lead walks for 5-10mins daily over the next week.
