Brought in by carer- O advises relentless licking bottom area,Examination:Demeanour: BARFocused exam findings: LEFT AG markedly swollen, firm and painful. 'Manually expressed a large volume of firm, gritty, haemorrhagic material. Palpable scar tissue noted within the gland. External skin appears clean and intact.RIGHT AG - NSFAssessment:Persistent left anal gland impaction and sacculitis.Treatment:- Extend abs 10 more days- Advised to continue current liquid pain relief for 2-3 days.Plan:- Continue / modify treatment: Administer antibiotics BID for 10 days.
